North Korea threatens to conduct a nuclear test

North Korea said that it will carry out a nuclear missile test if the United Nation Security Council condemns the recent rocket launched by the country. Interestingly a few neighboring countries of North Korea said they couldn’t locate the rocket launched by North Korea.

Mobile companies announces job cuts

Sony Erricson and Toshiba have announced that it will cut jobs in coming years. The company Sony Ericsson, based in London announced that will be cut 6000 jobs and around the world it will cut 2000 jobs. The company reported a loss of £258m in the initial quarter of the year. Cathay Pacific Airways have asked its employees to go on unpaid leaves.

All mobile phones will have a standardized charger

The major mobile companies that include Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and Motorola have joined together at the stage of Universal Charging Solution (UCS) consortium and the companies decided that they will support a standardized charger for all the mobile phones.
