Federer wins U.S. Open on Monday

On Monday night Roger Federer of Switzerland won the men’s championship trophy of the U.S. Open by defeating Andy Murray of Scotland. Federer won his 13th Grand Slam title by score of 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 in straight sets and it was his fifth straight at Open and it took him 1-hour 51-minutes to finish the game.

Serena claims third U.S. open title

Serena Williams won the title of the U.S. open after the final match on Sunday night. Serena won by 6-4, 7-5 Jelena Jankovic to get her third U.S. Open title. Jelena was appearing for the first time in U.S. open finals.

Djokovic wins over American Andy Roddick in quarterfinals

Djokovic defeated American Andy Roddick in United States Open quarterfinal on Thursday night by 6-2, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (5) after five sets of matches. Djokovic has been claiming that he suffered from 15 injuries before the match.

Serena wins U.S. open quarterfinals against Venus

The U.S. Open quarterfinals on Wednesday between Serena Williams and Venus Williams went in favor of Serena, who won by 7-6 (6), 7-6 (7) after a two hour twenty five minutes game. Serena said that she felt like she won the cup but she has to play two more rounds to get the cup.
