Yousaf Raza Gilani sworn in as Prime Minister of Pakistan

The president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf swore in the new Prime Minster of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gilani after he was selected by the leaders of the parliament for the Prime Minister’s office. Gilani was elected by the parliament on Monday and he belongs to the Benazir Bhutto’s party that is headed by Benazir’s husband Asif Ali Zardari. (more…)

Ian Paisley
Ian Paisley, 81 has been battling for nationalism in the province of Northern Ireland. He joined the government in 2007 and he decided to step down from first minister’s office of the province as his son named Ian resigned from the junior minister over the charges of corruption a week earlier.

Paisley said that he is not making the decision under anyone’s pressure and also that his son had been wrongfully accused. His office will be taken over by the deputy leader of the Democratic Unionist Party headed currently by Paisley.
