Underwater craft of Tamil Tiger in Sri Lanka

An underwater craft has been detected by the Sri Lankan government troops who are fighting in the district of the northern Mullaithivu against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).The craft was found on Thursday morning at Muttiyankattu area in the district.

Air pollution reduces age

The researchers have found that a long life is related to clean air and air pollution is responsible for lowering ages of people. Life expectancy of people who live in clear air conditions increase. It was found that lowered air pollution in 51 U.S. states has increased life expectancy in these states.

Global warming affects frozen continents

Some of the ice sheets in Antarctica are on the brink of collapsing as the researchers found that the increased global warming is changing maps of the continents. The latest reports on collapsing ice on Antarctica were published in the edition of Nature.

Milky Way is bigger than thought earlier

Milky Way galaxy is thought to be smaller than the neighborhood galaxy called Andromeda Galaxy but the recent research team of Harvard astrophysicists found that our galaxy is almost 50% larger than it is predicted to be.
