Benazir Bhutto assassinated while campaigning

During her election campaigning at Rawalpindi the lead opposition leader of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto was assassinated when she pulled off the bullet proof glass of her vehicle to bid farewell to her supporters and was hit by 2 bullets in her neck by armed gunmen on the motorbike near her vehicle. The motorbikes blasted themselves after killing the lead lady of Pakistan and more than 20 people died in the suicide bomb attacks by the assassinators. (more…)

Nations all over the world condemned Bhutto’s Assassination

The UN has condemned the act of assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Italian Ambassador said that the killing was a heinous act of terrorism. The statement issued by the Security Council called for restrain by the Pakistanis and to maintain stability in the country.
