Rockies loose in Game 1

The team which was winning all the games of the last series and out of the last 22 games the team won 21 games and was said to be a team having luck in its favor lost the first match against Red Sox in the World Series.

Carl Nafzger optimistic for Breeders’ Cup Classic

Street Sense, the horse that won the Kentucky Derby in May, will again be competing for the Breeders’ Cup Classic by the rider and trainer Carl Nafzger that will be held on Saturday this week.

The Breeders’ Cup Classic is popular for getting unexpected victory by horses and the trainer getting at least one victory in his life time. The winner of the Breeders’ Cup Classic will get $5 million. The trainer Nafzger is optimistic about his 3 years old horse to get the game.

Bhutto accuses Pakistan Government for the attacks on her

Bhutto accused the government of Pakistan to be responsible for the blasts in front of her vehicle on her return to Pakistan after the eight year self imposed exile.

She said that the government and security agencies are involved in the attacking her that resulted in killing 132 people in Pakistan. (more…)

Turkey attacks PKK

Turkish forces attacked the PKK militant in between the calls by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for peaceful solution for the situations in Iraq and Turkey.

Turkey has sent its troops to the mountains of Turkey close to the Northern Iraq to fight against the Kurdistan Workers Party militants who had been asking for a cease fire before the attack. (more…)
