Iceland’s Prime Minister will apply to European Union membership

Iceland’s Prime Minister Johanna Sigurdardottir said her supporters that she will apply to European Membership to help the troubled economy. The results of elections came out on Saturday and the caretaker government of the country came into power.

The traditional government of the country lost in elections because the government was ineffective in controlling the economy fall down and the conservative government has been into power from last 80 years.
