Wood fire destroys home in Horry County
A wood fire on Wednesday burned one house and it damaged at least two others. The fires delayed traffic and even today school traffic expects delays due to the fire. Motorist changed their routes to avoid getting trapped.
The out-of –control woodfire started in noon and threatened many homes close to it. It went to S.C. 31 that is also located close to the Grande Dunes Golf Club. Fire officials informed that the fires have already burned almost 5,000 acres of land.
