Tuesday aftershock hampers earthquake rescue process in Italy

On Tuesday an aftershock disturbed rescue processes in Italy and some historical buildings like the cupola of L’Aquila’s cathedral toppled down. The number of deaths from the calamity has risen to 250. Aftershock s of Tuesday measure 5.3 on Richter scale.

One of the hardest hit areas is the rural village of Onna and authorities claimed 40 – 300 might have perished in earthquake and most of the killed included children. Prime Minister of Italy announced local emergency on Monday after the earthquake.
