High Intake of Red meat may shorten life

Red meat has been linked to deaths in older adults due to cancer. Processed meat and a regular diet of high meat content are linked to heart disease and cancer, as reported by the U.S. National Cancer Institute. Low consumption of meat has saved deaths in men by 11% and in woman by 16%.
Rashmi Sinha author of the Archives of Internal Medicine issue, of March 23 showed modest link between consumption of red met and mortality rate and the research confirms the research of the American Cancer Society and American Institute for Cancer Research.
