All mobile phones will have a standardized charger

The major mobile companies that include Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and Motorola have joined together at the stage of Universal Charging Solution (UCS) consortium and the companies decided that they will support a standardized charger for all the mobile phones.

The development will be implemented by the year 2012 and many telecom companies like Vodafone, Qualcomm, Orange and Telefonica have also joined these companies to bring the change.
