UN top relief official accused of violating international laws

UN humanitarian chief John Holmes criticized the militant group Hamas for using civilian shield to get protection from Israeli troops and the group has been held accountable for violating the principle of proportionality in Gaza when bombing was carried out in the region.
The top UN official gave his statement on the Israel Gaza fight on Tuesday in New York on the working of UN’s Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza.
