Cholesterol regulating drug reduces risk of heart attack

The cholesterol lowering drug Crestor lowers the risk of heart attacks by 50% in people who have normal cholesterol and high inflammation that is measured by a marker called the C-reactive protein.
The study of effect of cholesterol regulating drug on heart attacks has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and 18000 people have been studied to get the reports.
