China’s economic growth slowest in last five years

China’s economy had a slow growth in the current year when compared to previous five years. The financial crisis lowered exports from China and hence the economy grew by 9.7 percent. Japan and Singapore also reported poor economic conditions caused by market crises.
Previously China recorded a low growth in second half of 2003 when the country was hit by SARS, severe acute respiratory syndrome, that was an epidemic and it hit economic growth of the country.
