U.S. investigate Lehman Brothers collapse
An investigating team has ordered subpoenas to the company’s and to an investment bank’s chief executive to find out the reason behind the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Federal prosecutors are examining people at places like Brooklyn, Manhattan and New Jersey to find the reasons that led to bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers.
The investigating team is trying to find out if the company’s executives misled investors because in the month of June the investors announced injecting $6 billion to the company and the third quarter loss of company was $2.8 billion.
