Finland’s Ex- President awarded Nobel Peace Prize

Finland’s ex-President Martti Ahtisaari got Nobel Peace prize for being a mediator in conflicts and for being a peace maker for the last three decades. The former Finnish president expressed hope that the award will help him raise funds to further help in making peace.
Ahtisaari was selected by the Norwegian Nobel Committee amongst a list of 197 names which included many jailed Chinese revolutionaries.
