Nobel prizes for AIDS research

Two scientists from France Francoise Barre-Sinoussi and Luc Montagnier, who discovered AIDS virus and a German scientist Harald zur Hausen who discovered the links between cervical cancer and virus, have been selected for the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
Cervical cancer is second most common cancer found in women and Hausen found that the papilloma virus causes cervical cancer.
