One fourth of animals are on the verge to extinction

About a fourth of wild mammals are facing the risk of extinction. The reports on extinction of wild animals were released on Monday after an international survey was conducted on animals that are being hunted and poached by humans.

The survey was done by 1700 researchers across 130 countries in the last five years and the reports were released at Barcelona at the World Conservation Congress that reported on 5,487 mammal species.
