Iceland banks in talks with Russia

Iceland central bank said that it is talking to get a loan from Russia and the negotiations have not completed. Iceland central bank Governor David Oddsson said that the government officials are very optimistic about the deal but the deal to get $5.43 billion loan has not been negotiated yet.
The global economic turmoil has hit Iceland’s banks and the financial system of the country is under heavy debts.
