Phoenix detects snow on Mars

The NASA’s spacecraft on Mars, Phoenix Lander, recorded clouds on mars that caused snow fall and it hinted that the Red planet might have seen rainfall on its surface. The snow fall on mars did not reach the ground of Mars instead it vaporized before reaching the surface of the red planet.
A probe is claiming that it found Calcium carbonate and clay on the plains of Mars, close to the Martian North pole.
