Companies shutting oil drilling areas of Gulf

Companies are preparing for the upcoming dangers posed by the tropical storm of the summer season, Gustav. The oil companies Royal Dutch Shell Plc and BP Plc have planned to complete shutting the oil drilling jobs in the regions.
Enbridge Energy Partners LP will also be shutting its oil production before the hurricane crosses the region on Sunday. The gulf regions produces one fourth of the total oil produced by U.S. that is 1.3 million barrels of oil in a day.
