Number of HIV’s rising in New York at high rate

The number of people infected from HIV virus is rising at a high rate in New York when compared to other states of America. About 72 of every 1 Lakhs residents are newly infected people in the year 2006 in New York and nationally the statistics is 23 people in 1 lakhs residents in the same year.
The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said that Blacks are getting more infected from the virus when compared to other ethnic groups.
