Drug to lower high BP in teens

A drug called allopurinol is said to help teenagers to lower blood pressures and the study said that it is not a powerful drug but it can lower uric acid that lowers high blood pressure in teens.
A few researchers find that the drug has side effects that make it unappealing to be used as a blood pressure controlling drug. The study about the drug is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
