Incense exposure may cause cancer

A long term exposure to incense burning may cause problems in respiratory track leading to disease like cancer. A research on respiratory problems linking it to cancer will be published in the October issue of the magazine Cancer.

The research studied people in Singapore and it was found that burning incense increased the risk of contracting Squamous cell carcinoma that is a tumor caused to the cell lining in the internal and external body parts.
