Japan company launches a communications satellite

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. launched the first private communication satellite that has been completely made in Japan and it was set in orbit on Friday .The satellite will be used for commercial purposes.

The five ton satellite is domestically made and it is positioned at 22,300 miles above the earth. The satellite will be tested in September. Japan has launched 18 satellites and all were made by U.S.
