Yahoo launches Fire Eagle

The new feature launched by Yahoo is called Fire Eagle that is said to be a user controlled distribution system that gets location data. The system accepts location data from external devices like mobile and provides the service to a third party.

The system Fire Eagle will provide the location data based on the privacy settings of the users and also has a “hide me” option is provided to hide the user’s location.
