Czech shooter gets 1st gold
The first gold of the August Summer Olympics that is being held in Beijing was won by Katerina Emmons of the Czech Republic who is wife of shooter Matt Emmons. To get Golds, the race will be prominently between the Americans and Chinese and the first gold was taken away by the Czech who stayed in America.
In the medal list China is leading with 1-0 as the weightlifter Chen Xiexia got the second event of the summer games.
