Summer Olympics opens in Beijing

The Beijing Olympics started at 8-8-8 at 8.08 pm in China. The moment the country has been waiting from almost seven years. The ceremony has been important for China that will be in spotlight to the whole world for the coming 17 days.

The games started in the 91,000-seat Olympic stadium that is called the Bird’s nest which was built with the help of a Swiss company and the function’s opening ceremony was choreographed by Shen Wei who is from New York.
