‘The Dark Knight’ tops box-office in third weekend
The batman film ‘The Dark Knight’ got stiff competition from the new “Mummy” sequel “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” but the film ‘The Dark Knight’ topped in the weekend box-office collections by earning a total of $43.8 million in the last three days of the week
The mummy sequel could make a total of $42.5 million from the sale of tickets in the weekend. “The Dark Knight” made $400 million on its 18th day and broke the previous record of “Shrek 2″ that made the same collections on its 43rd day.
