Earthquake stuck southern California

An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 on Richter scale was recorded in the southern California region and people gathered outside their buildings and homes in downtown Los Angeles. The schools in San Juan Capistrano evacuated classrooms though there were no reports of major injury or damage.
The quake was centered near Hills in San Bernardino County and it was said to be a moderate quake and an after shock of strength 3.8 was also registered in a few areas.
