Girls and boys are equally good in Maths

It was assumed that girls are not good in Maths when compared to boys and even parents believed that boys are better in subjects like maths but the research on 7.2 million students studying in grade 2, revealed that girls are also good in Maths. It is a common belief that girls are not hard wired in subjects like science and technology.

The study also found that girls can be maths geniuses because in the research the top 5% of the scorers were girls ,the results contradicts the former Harvard University President Lawrence Summer’s statement, who said that boys are more likely to be math’s geniuses.
