Sudan President visits Darfur

The Sudan President Umar al-Bashir who has been convicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court met the United Nations-African Union representative in Darfur and said that he will protect the relief workers in the region.
The Sudan President got cheering crowds in Darfur and the meeting took place in El-Fasher, capital of North Darfur state. The government of Sudan announced that it will resist any act to arrest their 64 – year old president.
