‘The Dark Knight’ heads towards $200 million

The batman movie “The Dark Knight” that is a tribute to Heath Ledger has turned out to be the highest grosser and the movie is heading towards making a huge amount of $200 million by the weekend.

The film started slow but got a record breaking $24.6 million from the domestic ticket sales on Monday and it is not away from the record set by “Spider-Man 2″ that grossed $27.7 million on its first Monday and “Spiderman 3” earned $10.3 million on its first Monday.
