US troops withdrawal from Iraq
The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki has been talking of negotiations with United States to get Status of Forces Agreement to regulate US forces. The Iraqi Prime Minister said that the memorandum of understanding for either evacuation or presence is to be finalized.
The UN mandate, on the troops in Iraq expires by the end of the year 2008 and the Iraqi ministers are in dilemma over the troop’s withdrawal as the deadline for withdrawal is not finalized.
