China’s bank profits increased stocks in Asian markets

The financial and technology stocks raised the Asian stock indexes on the opening day of the week. The Asian stocks were helped by the profits shown by China Merchants banks and the software company Trend Micro Inc., an anti-virus company.

Japan’s Nikkei rebounded as the China Merchants Bank Co. made a forecast of higher profits. The financial company Mizuho Financial Group Inc. and Mitsubishi Estate Co. showed gains in Japan market.
