American company gets into a deal with Iraq’s oil company

An American company is said to have got into an oil deal with local Kurdistan government that is said to be tentative. The deal was known to Bush government officials and the deal happened before Iraq is to pass an oil law.
The deal has infuriated Iraqi officials that are making talks over formulating an oil law.
The deal was signed in September last with the American company called Hunt Oil of Dallas.
