Russian model commits suicide

A Russian model who appeared on cover page of Vogue magazine, committed suicide on Saturday by jumping from the ninth floor of her Manhattan apartment. Ruslana Korshunova, a 20-year-old model from Kazakhstan, was said to be confused over the direction of her life.

The model was struggling with a stomach ailment and she lost a lot of weight in the last month. Her boyfriend said that the model was facing problems in balancing her personnel and professional life. She was under high wok pressure. In 2005 she was awarded “a face to be excited about” by British Vogue.
