Life expectancy in U.S. highest at 78 years

The newborns in U.S. are having highest life expectancy of 78 years though Japan has the highest life expectancy of 83 years for children born in year 2006.Gaps between male and female is closing though women live longer the men.
Women live for 81 years as compared to men who live for 75 years. Amongst the races white women have highest life expectancy of 81 years, then black women 77 years, then white men 76 years and last are black men 75 years.
