Diet and exercise is important in controlling diabetes. Researchers reported that drinking less alcohol, eating vegetables and exercising has been very important in controlling diabetes.
It was also reported that 90% of Type 2 diabetes cases are linked to inactivity and obesity whereas Type 1 diabetes is generally diagnosed early in life. The International Diabetes Federation warned that more than 380 million people are risked for diabetes because they are adopting western lifestyles.
