Zimbabwe election commission announces date of presidential runoff

The President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe has been ruling the country from almost three decades and in the last month’s general elections in Zimbabwe it was unofficially said that the opposition leader Mr. Tsvangirai won the elections but the declared results showed that Mr. Tsvangirai had 47.9% votes and Mr. Mugabe got 42.3 % votes.
After almost a month of general elections and results declarations, the election commission announced the date of presidential runoff to be June 27.Opposition said that 32 of its cadres have been killed and others tortured by the current government.
