In China, bad weather makes rescue difficult

In China the rescue operations to lift people out of the earthquake debris is being carried out as it is estimated that more than 25000 people are still trapped under the debris. The weather condition is posing difficulties for the rescue workers.
Currently as per official estimation 12,335 people are feared to have died in the earthquake. In the Yingxiu town in Wenchuan County it is estimated that out of 10,000 residents in the region, three –quarter died in the quake.
