What Microsoft lost after loosing the bid?

Microsoft did not get the bid of Yahoo but the company got into a damaging business deal by coming up with the bid. Yahoo was punished by investors as the bid was withdrawn but the price of Microsoft lowered by more than $24 billion.

The bid was given by Microsoft on Feb 1 and the software companies have benefited in stock values after the Philadelphia Semiconductor went up by 6% but Microsoft did not get profited by the market pluses .There are still many speculation being made in the market over the bid and Microsoft’s next plan.
