Increase in pre-pregnancy diabetes found in California

The pre –Pregnancy diabetes is on rise in California and the doctors believe that the reason for increase in diabetes is obesity. The pre-pregnancy diabetes is of type -2.and it is also prominent in pregnant girls from age 13 to 19.

The diabetes double for the woman in age group 20 to 39 as compared to age 13 to 19.The researchers also found that Black, Hispanics and Asian women are more likely to get diabetic then the white women
