Dalai Lama supported non-violent protests

The Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama said that he supported non-violent protests and was unhappy over the San Francisco protests that made the Olympic torch to be re-routed after the human right activists interfered in the matter.
This has been one of the largest and wide spread protests by the Tibetans against the Chinese’s rule in the region that is expected to involve about 150,000 people.
