Blood thinner kills 103 patients in 2007

On Tuesday the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) reported that about 103 patients have died after taking the blood thinning drug heparin instead of 19 that was earlier reported by the FDA.
The contamination in the blood thinning drug heparin made by various companies was being investigated by FDA and it said that the allergic reactions killed more people than what it was expected earlier.
