Olympic torch reaches San Francisco

The Olympic torch reached San Francisco from Paris and was escorted to the hotel that is located close to the city’s popular Union Square shopping district. The Olympics torch has been through its journey under opposition.

The brass lantern of the Olympic torch is accompanied by many other flames and in U.S. 79 runners will run with the torch for about 2 1/2 relay. Generally the runners are not threatened but cases like a 14 year old girl dropping from running with the torch for security reasons are also coming up
