Richardson endorses Obama
A big win was registered as Obama got the endorsement of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who dropped from the presidential race in January and was with Obama in the campaigning in Portland and Ore.
Richardson had been an important super delegate whose endorsement was being sought by both the rival demo critic candidates Obama and Clinton. The next primaries will be held in Pennsylvania on April 22 and Obama will be trying to make it clear that he is the frontrunner in nomination from Democrats.
