Pilot union finds merger risky for Northwest Airlines

The merger of Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines is facing problems as the pilot union is finding the merger proposal too risky for future growth of the airline company. The sanction by the pilot union is the major hurdle that needs to be crossed by the two companies to finalize the merger proposal.

The company management team has encouraged the pilot union of both the companies to take the help of other and help the companies towards merger but the union of both the companies is finding it difficult to settle the disputes between them.
