In U.S., 1 in 4 teenage girl suffer from sexually transmitted disease
The study of U.S. teenage health was shocking as it suggested that one out of four teenage girls in US suffered from sexually transmitted diseases. The STD rate in teenage girls in US was 26% and the study was conducted on 838 U.S. girls.
The disease was high in black girls and 20% in both white and Mexican. Though only half of the total girls admitted that they had sex .The doctors said that the teenagers were not provided with sex education and so the statistics was high. The STDs can result in diseases like infertility and cancer in teenage girls in later ages.
