Avastin gets clearance from the FDA

The breast cancer durg Avastin manufactured by the company Genentech Inc has got approval from the US regulators on Friday and the shares value of the company increased by about 9 % for the expected increase in trades that will be made by the company.

There were many assumptions made on the drug Avastin that was assumed to get rejected by the Food and Drug Administration. The medicine has been approved to be used for the treatment of colon and lung cancer and a sanction for breast cancer was being waited by the company.
